Campaigns Overview
Understand how campaigns, participants, and recurrence work.
A campaign represents a single round of feedback collection. Arenevo supports three campaign types, which can be combined depending on what you're trying to learn:
- Pulse survey — anonymous questions sent to the whole team
- Self-assessment — a leader reflects on their own performance against the same dimensions
- Leader assessment — a manager's perspective on the team, collected via a tokenized link (no login required)
See Campaign Types for when to use each one.
Creating a campaign
Campaign creation is a three-step wizard:
- Name — give the campaign a descriptive name so you can identify it across reports
- Template — select the survey questions to include. A template defines which health dimensions are measured (see Templates & Library)
- Participants — choose who receives the survey: all active team members, or a specific Participant Group
Launching a campaign
Once you click Launch, the campaign moves from Draft to Active and invitation emails are sent immediately to all participants. Participants respond via a personal tokenized link — no Arenevo account is required, which keeps participation rates high.
Reminders
You can configure automatic reminder emails for participants who have not responded yet. Set the number of days between reminders, or turn them off entirely. Reminders can be configured when creating the campaign or from the campaign detail page while it is still active.
Self-assessment requirement
If the campaign includes a self-assessment, you must complete your own answers before the full team results become visible. This is intentional: it keeps your self-perception separate from the team's data so the comparison remains meaningful when you review results.
Participants
Each campaign is sent to a group of participants — either every active team member, or a specific Participant Group. Responses only become visible once the campaign's anonymity threshold (a minimum number of responses) is reached, so individual answers can never be traced back to a single person.
Status
A campaign moves through four statuses: Draft (being configured), Active (accepting responses), Completed, and Archived. Only active campaigns accept new responses.
Recurrence
Campaigns can be configured to repeat automatically — weekly, every two weeks, monthly, quarterly, every six months, or annually. See Recurring Campaigns for details.
